School of Rock
We are delighted to have secured the performance rights to stage School of Rock. This is approximately a 2 hour-long full length production of the smash hit West End Musical that will run for 4 performances, 28th-30th July.
Parental discretion is advised as the show contains occasional strong language.
Auditions will be held to cast a ‘Main Cast' of youth performers who will perform every show alongside our adult cast.
- The parts of Zack, Lawrence, Freddy & Katie ideally will play their instrument live, however this is an added bonus and non musicians should not be put off as these can be mimed (or taught). Singing and Acting the part is more important to us.

All roles are open to everyone, regardless of gender. However due to copyright we are unable to change the name/gender in the script.
- We will consider younger and older candidates than the age of 8-15yrs, however they need to look between this age range.
A one-off show fee of £85 per person in the ‘main cast’ will apply.
Fee includes:
- Full script and vocal score (to keep)
- 12 weeks of Rehearsals working with production team.
- School of Rock cast DAPA T-shirt
Main costume items will be provided, however cast may need to provide some additional items, such as tights, shoes, Plain t-shirts etc.

ZACK - Plays Guitar in the Band
Zack is angry that his dad doesn’t listen to him and has a passion for music ready to burst out from inside of him.
He knows he has more in him than he has ever been able to show.

LAWRENCE - Plays Piano in the Band
A shy, under confident boy, but a genius on the keyboard, who needs a free spirit like Dewey to lead him into the light.
